Sani-Cide EX3 is our new EPA registered, aircraft approved, broad-spectrum disinfectant and multi-purpose cleaner all in one convenient product. Gone are the days of needing to carry a glass cleaner, disinfectant, and general purpose cleaner onto an aircraft! Sani-Cide EX3 offers a safe and effective approach to the cleaning and disinfecting of numerous surfaces throughout an aircraft. It is capable of cleaning multi-soils and leaving behind a clean, streak-free surface. Sani-Cide EX3 is an effective disinfectant even though it contains no quaternary ammonium compounds, this also makes it a much better cleaner. Look how well its non-quat based formula did at cleaning this galley floor! You couldn’t even tell the floor was supposed to be blue before Sani-Cide EX3 was applied. That grungy gray/brown that was there comes from using a quat-based cleaner/disinfectant. The quats build up over time creating a grunge factor and making the surface look dirty even though it was recently cleaned. You can use Sani-Cide EX3 on plastics – including fire retardant thermoplastics, glass, mirrors, metals, carpet, fabric, and leather. The formula has been composed in such a way that it is compatible with and non-reactive to all known fire retardant thermoplastics. That means you won’t have any staining issues with this product! Ronn Cort, the President and COO of SEKISUI SPI (KYDEX and ALLEN brands) had this to say about Celeste and Sani-Cide EX3: “Celeste Industries Corporation manufactures an ideal range of cleaners for our KYDEX Thermoplastics used in aircraft interior applications - from tray tables to premium seating components. All SEKISUI SPI's KYDEX materials are tested using Celeste's cleaners for aircraft interior components. No change in physical properties or color of KYDEX components after repeated cleaning with Celeste's products. A perfect combination for interior aircraft maintenance.” In addition to being highly effective and non-reactive to fire retardant thermoplastics, Sani-Cide EX3 has a water-based, non-corrosive formula that is safe for the environment, aircraft components, and workers to use. It joins our product portfolio as one of many “green” chemicals that is non-toxic and essential for aircraft presentation.

We've been using the Sani-Cide Disinfectant pump spray, we have just called it red label. The red label is a virucide, mildewstat, fungicide and tuberculocidal. The basic question here is, will the Sani-Cide EX3 do the same job?

Thank you for your patience Mark! At this time we cannot make any specific kill claims on our Sani-Cide EX3, other than it being a broad-spectrum disinfectant, due to EPA regulations. It has been proven effective against Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella enterica, a gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria respectively. I can assure you though, that our lab is working hard to ensure the same efficacy and obtain the EPA registrations that the old Sani-Cide had. Based on preliminary germicidal efficacy testing results, we expect Sani-Cide EX3 to eventually have similar claims as the old Sani-Cide, but we cannot currently make the claims. Ultimately, Sani-Cide EX3 is a far superior product and will soon have the necessary EPA registrations to prove it.

When purchasing in the gallon or 55 gallon quantity, is this is a concentrate that is then diluted for use? Or does it ship ready to use? Who can I contact for pricing for my cleaning company at McCarran airport?

Sani-Cide EX3 does not need to be diluted with water. This will decrease the efficacy of the product. If you are using a Sani-Cide EX3 Concentrate product, then the product will need to be diluted. Please read the instructions on the product label to know if dilution is needed.
